We hate not having a boy around the place, so persuaded Pam and John at Ballyphelan to part with Panther, so glad they were willing to do it. He is settling in great, treating the girls with great respect - especially the Lurcher who keeps everyone in order.

How frustrating a game this is. Due to the Bank Holiday, we are too late. Now have to wait until November to try again, at least there are no public holidays then.

First progesterone came back at 4.4 nmols, so - with luck we should make it to the Tuesday after Bank Holiday when we can get a second reading.

Finally Liffy is in season - However talk about timing - two major bank holidays ahead of us when the labs will be closed AAAGGG ! Doing a progesterone tomorrow but that's the last we can do until after the Royal Wedding so its in the lap of the Gods whether this happens this time.

Still waiting for Callista to come into season. She should have been in between mid January - Mid February - no sign yet. We have imported semen from the US for her so an exciting project for us although having to stay grounded as A.I. isn't always successful.

Evita has missed, so no puppies there this time.
